June 2026
June's basket came to $134.92, down $1.74 from May's $136.66. That's a drop of 1.3 percent, and the twelve-month line still sits 3.5 percent higher. Gas in Toronto fell to $1.654 a litre from $1.869. Tomatoes led the way down, a kilogram now $4.82, while canola oil climbed to $10.77 for three litres. Laundry detergent and bacon each slipped a bit, but the basket barely moved overall.
